Please can anyone advise which cams are which by the markings on the end lobe ??
I have two cams to use in an 850.
One is an early one, with cut outs for the breather disc and an oil splasher midway along and has "4" stamped on the end face. It also has a threaded timing end.
T'other is later, scrolled and has "T" stamped on the end lobe.
Although the lobes appear to be the same height/lift, the first one's lobes are noticeably fatter on the up and down ramps.
So which are they ???????
