Hi all!
I am working on a friends Lucas MO1L Mag/Dyno from a '58 model 19s & it has a crusty chrome plated end cover on the E3L Dynamo. I assume that the cover would have been painted black originally & someone "dressed it up" by chrome plating it. Can anyone confirm the finish on this end cover?? The Lucas book calls this part a "cover, commutator end" part number 200902.

Generally black, but I have come across some which were dull plated - not bright chrome.
