Great tyre shop

Today we went out to Vintage Tyres near Beaulieu.

Lucky for me they are pretty close by, but worth knowing they operate a mail order service too (with free postage)!

Missing engine parts?

Hello all, I have a 1962 slimline 99 and have removed all parts from the timing side and according to the parts list there should be a Sealing washer for timing side bearing Part No T2008 and a Backing plate for pinion Part No T2007.

Gearbox bearings

I've bought a complete set of new bearings to go in my dolls head gearbox and the roller bearings I had before had a lip on the edge to stop the rollers going all the way out the other side.

Clutch not working

I have an 850 Commando which has been off the road for almost 2 years. Done various things including changing some of the gear change parts and have put it all back together but the clutch is not working.

Looming issue

Good evening all, I just tried fitting a new headlamp loom to my mk III Commando, all went well removing the old loom... until I noticed that 2 of the block connectors had been 'modified'. There's always something!

Big bore

Hi All,

I have an 850, towhich I just fitted a 'big bore' exhaust .

On first starting and revving I get a lot of popping and uneven running at about 3-4000 revs.
