Any suggestions who to contact re fastening nut/bolt/studs? My bike was bought 'complete' but is far from & I'm struggling to find odd bits.

Hi Andrew,

Try the Nat M/C museum, or the NOC spares scheme for a parts list for your 62 Jubilee. It will save you money in not buying the wrong odd bit.

Use the part number in the NOC SHOP spares section to see if NOC have the part you are missing. It is easy to use the wrong frame stud in the wrong position and end up with studs that are too long/short.

Tell us if you are talking of frame studs and fasteners, or is your engine/gearbox in pieces and in the pile.

Generally, threads are cycle and frame studs are 3/8 ins diameter. Occasional BSF thread on swinging arm pivot, which is larger than 3/8 ins.

There are many spacers in the frame assembly. Needless to say, without the right spacers the securing studs appear too long or too short.

Tell us where you are. Perhaps someone with 'the knowledge' can help.

Posting photos of your problem areas on your post can help.

Help is at hand.
