Having trouble removing the plunger bolt from the lh crancase, not sure if lh or rh thread, anyone know how best to deal with this. Would like to remove it as I want to try and flat the mating faces but the bolt protrudes past the face.
Nothing like a bit of nostalgia to click through when you're bored....just came across this nice web site....packed full of images of actual press ads of the time for various motorcycle paraphernalia ....You might even find one of your local shops
Hi All,
I will be working on one of my 600cc Dominator engines shortly & in reviewing some of the parts & see that one of the "spigots" on the top of the cylinders has a chunk missing.
Hi,
Can you please tell me which type of Amal carb would have been fitted to a 1951 600cc Big 4 ??
Thanks,
Evening folks,
Can someone tell me please which is the correct way to insert the manifold tubes on a 650SS head. What is the final position of the slots in the end?
Many thanks and ride safe.
Cheers Mick
Good afternoon all,
It may come as a surprise to most people but LED bulbs are not legally approved replacements for tungsten filament types. It is only if there is a complete lighting unit available with LEDs fitted.
I found my tank bolts loose , appart from lockwire or threadlock has anyone come up with a better solution?
Hi,
I have taken the plunge and am preparing myself to sleeve my master cylinder which had ben pitted by rust.
I would really like to find out what has become of my old commando,
My m50 has standard 5/8 x 1/4 chain and sprockets for the rear drive. Recent chain replacement has led to a noticable rattle chain to upper chainguard.
The new chain is a quality item and of correct size..not japanese spec.
I would be grateful if anyone can tell me the thread size of the drive side crankshaft. The nut from the club spares goes on a couple of threads on then stops.
Looking for a set of correct Fastback badges, but here's the rub, what is correct?

Watched my Christmas Pressie last night. Mike Pemberton's excellent Dvd on dismantling the single. What immediately caught my ear on running the vid was the sound the the ES2 in the opening clip.

Has anyone else had emails supposedly from members of the NOC or from 'NOC Branches' that begin with 'Hi' and your name?

But unfortunately it is a lose fit in the BPF socket.
Any idea for a solution?

As far as i know the Wassel catalogue is not easy to find, but possibly useful to some of us as most repro stuff originates from them...here's a link noting this is 2013 version...(trade Only?)....but the only one available on the net????....

Having recently received a fuel tank, direct from India, I feel I must respond to John Scarborogh?s recent letter, in Roadholder348.

For what it is worth. Have 1970 Roadster 750.
Ethanol eats tanks. Even Brexit will not get us an ethanol free fuel i suspect. Had to get steel tank. Secondhand all smacked up and expensive.
I'm after some help with a set of start rollers I've made. They are powered by a 3hp 240 volt motor from an old compressor.
