For your enjoyment and comments, this is a short video on the initial firing of this Norton Model 7, which belonged to my father.

He bought it in 1950 from Garreau in Paris and took it in far away places, shuttling between airbases and home in France and in North Africa.

I decided to restore it as a family token. As soon as the weather will be dry, I will take it to the narrow roads of the French Ardennes where it started to roar in 1950.

The dual seat was an update made by my father (after years of Lycett and tansad) .

To complete its rebuilt and history, I would need a sidecar of this period of time (Simard) as its sidecar was totalled by a car in Algeria in the late 50s.

Thanks to those who helped me with their advice in NOC as well as the RGM team, the Templetons for the petrol tank, Hagon Wheels, EMS electrical services, David Lindsley etc

Thanks. I forgot to thank other suppliers, Fair spares Norvil, Armours, and a few friends or Norton riders who will look for a few beers.Rene
