NOS Model 7 petrol tank and Lyta Wideline

Forums

Good evening

Please ignore my earlier message.

As I want to speed up the finalisation of my 88 project, I decided to order a new Mini Manx tank from TA Baker.

Therefore the proposal for a swap a Lyta tank against my NOS Model 7 tank does not stand any longer.

Cool RenÃ?

To finish my 88 Wideline, I have been looking at Lyta alloy tanks or UK made equivalents. I have been looking for used ones and found various tanks with amazing repairs (good for a blazing bike)..I know that I can purchase new ones in the UK. But I am looking for an unused or usable Lyta tank collecting dust in a shelf.

During the restoration of my Model 7, I purchased an NOS petrol tank which sat in the window of one Norton former Belgian importer Jules Tacheny. The original paint has faded and has a few small scratches . No rust. I tested it, no leakages. This tank is now safely stored in a steel trunk.

I will send pictures to anyone interested by a swap.

Regards

RenÃ?
