Ok I'm coming to the end of my options! ... and tether! I've got the jubilee running, it ticks over nicely and accelerates well if I open the throttle slowly, however it completely dies if I open the throttle quickly and this is at any revs.

A friend of mine asked me what colors a Dominator 1953 is painted. It is now painted blue. It is common in Chile for people to paint their bikes according to personal taste.

Problem after problem with this build, please can anybody help, my timing case is on the left, and I found that it was missing the oil jet and spring which I have now sourced.

For the 500T buffs. I believe the 500T was produced from 1939.

I have put a new bearing into the clutch sprocket. When I went to align the face of the clutch sprocket with the engine sprocket I noticed that is was 'wobbly'. The centre is rigid though on the mainshaft spline.

Have attached a photo of the long stroke Manx crankcase including the alloy bearing cover. I have searched the internet for fitment of this item but with no success. One suggestion is that it would be threaded and maybe bonded.

I noticed some odd scraping noises from the rear .

Just been out for a short ride when I realised that my right foot was getting rather oily - the large domed nut from the oil pressure relief valve in the timing cover had disappeared, along with its internals.

I'm having trouble with the auto advance not retarding it's self properly. I spent all day fiddling with it yesterday. New chain nice and slack, fitted new springs etc. Moves free enough?

Does anybody know the length of the single AMC ES2 / M50 gearbox mainshaft length. A distance over the end splines will do. I know there shorter than the Dommi twins but they all look the same without one agains the other.Cheers Tony

Having recently completed a restoration of my father's 1951 ES2 and had it running I was eager to get a few miles on the bike this year.

The "Recent Messages" section previously at the top right corner of the home page seems to have disappeared from normal view. Is this a glitch or has progress struck in that one now has to log in to see this feature ?

I have a 60 box with a weak spring allowing the K/s to flip back.I know by replacing allsorts that the later arangement is better,however perhaps I could drill and fit the spring post and use the later spring, Anyone done this?.

Not trying to be a numpty here but are all K2f's the same or are they model specific? Would a K2F off a 1963 A10 Beeza fit a 1968 Atlas without modification?
