On my 1935 Es2 I have the two hole mudguard mounting type rear number plate/light bracket.Is this correct.?

Can anyone explain how an auto advance unit works. I'm unsure that my works after I removed it (I had to use a certain amount of violence). And where can you get a new one? My bike is a Norton Atlas -64.
I have often wondered if there should be a rubber backing to the slimline tank flashes, though there is nothing in the various parts manuals to suggest that there was a separate part.
Anyone any idea where part number 06.5050 â clip - rocker oil pipe is supposed to be fitted? Apparently I bought one from Mick Hemmings in 1999, but it's not on the bike, I can't find it loose, and I don't even remember it!

I'm trying to piece together the specifications of the ES2 I just bought and I'm wondering what the front brake is. Obviously not Norton but I haven't found any markings on it. Something Italian maybe?
Last week I received a phone call from a friend of ours who weâve known for years. To cut a long story short, heâs in his 70âs and has finally accepted that he will never finish his Norton that has been in bits for 30+ years.
I couldn't find a sump plug in my parts book and the condition of my current one is so poor that can't get a thread reading on it.
Anyone know what the correct size is and/or where I can get the correct part?
on my wideline frame i am putting together i notice on the rear engine plates there are holes inline with the Centre stand mounting bolts. should a bolt run through the Centre of the stand bolts to secure the engine plates at that point.
Hi,
I just restore the engine with new slip, piston, shell and engine bearings. Once start the bike I encounter oil flowing out from the rear crankcase breather. It's not normal leaking but flowing like open a water tab.
Does anybody know if the 500SS head is the same as the 600SS and 650SS heads. As the 500 is 66 bore is the combustion chamber smaller as the 600 and 650 is 68mm bore.
After taking my box apart (several times!) I can't get the timing between the Quadrant and camplate, Getting my aged back down enough and in the gloomy interior of the box its hard to see 2 teeth align with the track, is there a better way?.
Hello, just rebuilding my Mk3 and am fitting a new speedo drive and cable. As it runs so close to rear chain, does it route through the silencer bracket (at an angle) or go straight to the bottom frame tube? Does anyone have picture? Cheers.
Has anyone got a pic of the right hand switch 'cluster' with the top section stripped down (Head/ Pilot). I think I am missing a part. I did take pics on the strip down but not with the screwed plate off.
Just bought an es2......â? I realised the navigator was physically too small for me.thoroughly enjoyed doing it up, but it is now on eBay, well it will be at 6 p.m. still has a small oil leak from the gearbox, but goes well. Very sensible price.
looking for missing clutch parts for 1955 88, Are the parts on eBay any good for my model. looks like double primary chain type. As bike came without any clutch got no ref to check.Attachments

Touch wood, the only thing on my to-do list now is to replace the rotted boot around the end of the piston in the master cylinder for the front brake. It protects the cylinder from the elements, but it's an open door to them at present.
well despite having my battery on regular charge and on the optimate, the ist mot was due so uncover,unlock wheel out of garage and click click click, dam, battery dead,reconnect to battery charger, starts ist time disconnect battery charger bike

Is it just me, or have others found that their August Roadholder has missing and duplicated content? Pages 17-32 are missing in my copy and Pages 9-16 and 33-40 are repeated.
