Sympathetic petrol tank repair
A big thank you to John Holmes for recommending CWClassic.co.uk who have just returned my Navigator petrol tank after completing a very neat and sympathetic weld repair to a fatigue crack round the rear mounting lug.

I have been in contact with a other NOC member a few months ago. Unfortunately I couldn't find any part of this conversation on my NOC account. Isn't it possible to reach this conversation again?

I am looking for original Dunstall parts for 650ss/Atlas to restore a genuine documented Dunstall 650ss to the condition it left Dunstall in 1966. I have an original picture but realise fibreglass tanks will all have rotted away by now.
Anyone know the correct part number for the MAIN SHAFT, in a Manx dolls head box...
I've been told its a N8030, but this is not correct and does not align up the clutch with the engine sprocket.
I have tried to email the spares dept. several times, in the past few days.
All I get is a message, from the mail server, saying the site is undergoing maintenance, and, messages are not being accepted.
Can anyone confirm if full width hubs (front and back) all had butted 8/10 gauge spokes? My builder received 9 gauge and they are almost pulling through the hole?
Rebuilding 1973 commando 750 roadster, the original mudguard had far to many holes in it, and the fitting was a botched job and was attached only by the two horn bolts .
Any suggestions where I can source an engine sprocket for my 1932 International 490.
Just running the black plastic oil lines to the rockers.
I've acquired the early hand shift device for my 31 model 20.
Once fitted and the rear nut behind the gear case is tightened the lever will not move.
I am not sure if this is the right place to ask, but, I have just tried to email an enquiry. Igot a message saying mail was not being accepted, and, I should try again later.
Is this likely to be resolved, fairly soon?
Hello all!
Does anybody know the thread size of the Navigator rear petrol tank securing bolt
No. A2/277?
The thread in the frame bracket is shot and I cannot secure the tank properly. So a helicoil insert is in need.
hi - I have a 1959 Dominator 99 and need to know the correct gearbox for the engine please and the price I would need to pay for the gearbox. Many thanks - Dave
Just fitted an RGM front brake master cylinder conversion. For the life of me I cant get the damn thing to bleed.
i have a 72 registered 750 commando which is proving to be somewhat odd. Registered 72 and distributed to Gus Kuhn in jan 72. This has matching numbers in the 200,000 series.
I do not own a 961 just a Rotary and a 650 SS, on FB today there was some typically negative comments concerning the new Norton's (Atlas etc) from one who admitted to not owning or riding a Norton and another who is a sales person for a well know
The DVLA require my newly re-built 1965 Jubilee to have an inspection by SGS before assigning an age-related registration number (the bike had no paperwork when I bought it and was in bits).
hello, some while ago in a magazine i saw a Dynastart fitted to a single cyl bike dont know if it was a norton.
I have recently acquired a '56 Dominator and cannot reset the trip meter to zero. The adjusting knob will not withdraw to engage the mechanism.
Hello all, looking to rewire my 72 Commando anyone got sources for wiring cable etc.
Can anyone tell me the wire size ie dia.
Cheers all.
I was missing the inspection cover on the right-hand side of the gearbox so decided to make one it's very non-standard but I like it.
I plan to black the engraving and the screws in the photo are temporary.
On the back of my Navigator enginenear the chain sprocket, there is a hole that I think is a crankcase breather, there was a 3/8 brass bolt with a hole up its centre ramed in the hole.
I fitted a new extended nut to my Model 88 under the left exhaust port. As it began to tighten, the thread stripped. The stud has pulled from the head. That means the head has to come off for a helicoil.
This bike has adopted me to be its caretaker for the next few decades (I hope). My plans are to get it into excellent running condition and enjoy it until a new caretaker is needed.
