bit of help needed here.....
in an attempt to try and get the primary side back to good condition I noticed that I had very irregular stator clearance, one side had .05mm and the opposite was more like .8.

In the 1961-62 parts list in the centre stand section on page 43 I've found the items «17591 Rubber stop» and «E5278 Pin for stop».
Somebody outthere knows those items?

I have a 1971 Roadster. My question- the quick release rear wheel.
Since the introduction of the new website I can no longer open the archived Roadholder magazines on my iMac. A new tab says ' 403 Forbidden ' .
I wrote to the webmaster but so far I have not had a response.

I have only just become aware of this action. Rather than support this action by buying spares I would Mothball the bike and turn to another make. I would hope that the parts distributors who buy from ANIL would talk some sense into them.
Hi I’m having a bit of trouble removing the crankshaft half pinion on my ‘52 Dommie 7. I can’t get a gear puller on it due to the inset into the case.
Has anyone got any recommended contacts for a reliable outfit for chroming and painting Norton parts in the NW of England? Live near Blackpool but don't mind travelling a bit.

Looking for a supplier of brake/clutch cable as per the picture, cloth type with red spiral stripe.

I would like to try and trace the history of the Mk 3 850 bike I have as far back as I can. From what I can gather factory records were sketchy or non existent. The bike was exported to USA in October/November 1974 then distributed it to wherever
This tome was reviewed in the December Roadholder, priced at £50 to £60.

This new site is waaaayyyy to busy with too many choices, etc.
I am not sure why the change was made.
I bought a Jubilee in bits 18 months ago. The bike had lots of parts missing e.g. seat, all of the tin ware, headlamp, mudguards, exhausts and downpipes, toolbox, etc. Even one piston was missing.
Generally speaking it looks good and dare I say quite modern. Everything seems to work as advertised. Nice and simple/intuitive to use and generally a good job well done. Only time will tell if it goes down well.

I thought it was OK. He covered most of the important events and bikes in the 50 minutes time he had.
I was about to put the cylinders back on my 71 roadster and noticed these screws had been safety wired (see attached). Was this done at the factory? It's not a problem, I'm just curious.
