Hello, can anyone help with this one. Stripping the paint from my 58 Dominator petrol tank I have found tapped holes in the knee area, these must be for knee pads but I was not aware they where fitted to Dominators. Have I got the wrong tank?
Looking through my bits and came across this a Lucas/Britax/Wipac? A rear light with two bulbs. I wonder if it can be wired to have two, yes dual combined Tail and stop lights?

Putting the 1956 Dominator 99 away from a run today, I noticed for the first time what looks like casting blow holes on each side of the cylinder head in the root of the fins adjacent to the carburettor inlet tract.

The Atlas has been in bits for a year and the 3/4year old Yuasa Acid 12v battery has not been looked after in the sons garage.
After a short five mile run the plugs were as per the attached photo. The insulator was orange and the ground electrode had a distinct green tinge. Never seen anything like it before. Any ideas what it might mean?

I've started work on my 1953 Model 7 and want to remove the dynamo clamp at the front of the engine. Can anyone explain how to remove the lower pin that the clamp pivots on?
Okay, Nortoneer's I undid the cylinder head and removed All of the bolts x 5, nuts x 5 and have carefully tapped the Inlet ports and Exhaust ports with a rubber mallet and the head is stuck on there like it is still bolted down!
Roadholder forks - Which are the best internal or external springs for my 1956 Norton Dominator?
Regarding the 1938 Model 18 girder forks. Were these Webb forks or Norton's own make ?

I have one of these which came in a box of bits and want to fit it to my 1952 ES2 (E3H dynamo, negative earth). The cut out/in works fine - checked off the bike with a variable voltage supply.

I am considering an "electronic ignition", similar to the types I used in the late 1970s on my Bedford CA Dormobile and my Mark 10 Jaguar.
I am currently trying to bring back to life a 1951 Manx and was looking for some advice on the frame. what would be the best way forward to strip and repaint/coat. Manual cleaning, blasting or chemically strip?
