Hi chaps, I'm going to service and clean the Concentrics on my 1974 920 Mk2A and noticed that on the Amal (Burlen) website they show a special spray tube intended for 'later 850 Commandos'. I know my existing 932 carbs on the Commando are fitted with 'standard' 4-stroke spray tubes. Cheers.

Hi Mark
When I junked the black air box and exhaust balance pipes from my 850 mk3, I removed the angled spray tubes and 4 ring needles for the full tubes and 2 ring needles - I didn't notice any difference so put them back. You just knock the spray tubes out with a suitable drift. There is an interesting thread on Access Norton just now about these angled spray tubes.
