Why not contact Richard at TAB 11

They supplied Unity with their tanks (which were then marked up) They can do one without the clip on dents too.

I like the look of the Mini Manx.

Or RGM do the Bartel Enginnering ones, although they cost considerably more.

I've got one on my Dominatrix in the attached pictures.

Hi Simon, There are elements of the machine which suggest that parts may have been "thrown" together to produce a sale. With this in mind I would wonder whether the Bars were ever used on this machine and I would think hard about the tank design and if it needs the indentations for those bars (which look pretty impractical to me).

Since ethanol will not affect an alloy tank, why add a sealant that might be affected?

Why a new tank anyway? Bin those useless bars, fit "Vincent" straights, and get it running. Until all the other problems are sorted (and, on a bike costing £1,500) there are bound to be some, a new tank is the last thing to spend money on.

Unfortunately, John, ethanol does affect alloy tanks, although not as quickly as it will eat into fibreglass. I would use an alloy tank, unlined, as I find linings to be more trouble than they are worth, but don't leave petrol sitting in when the bike is not being used. Or, cheapest way, try lining the fibreglass tank and see if it works or not. Nothing to lose, apart from maybe £40 'ish.

Hi robert i bought it from a woman, her ex husband died a while back he got he bike years ago and did a few bits to it but i think money was a problem so it has been in the garden shed for years with parts all over the place i had to sort through 3 sheds to find what i have now. it was me who just put the bits in place just to take a photo or two, i'm not looking to buy a tank just yet just trying to price up to get a ball park figure there are a few new parts he had bought like a new loom and gaskets and cables. i want to change the front end back the drum brake i dont think i will be keeping the clip ons
