Piston JP made in Australia

Forums

Do you know what is the clearance (play) piston - cylinder that it is necessary to put for piston JP made in Australia on one commando ? Thank you

You need to get JP's figures, only they know the alloy used in the piston and hence the expansion.

I once had a set of JP pistons for a Triumph T90. I had a wonderfull time sweeping a piston from crank cases. It went just like a grenade. Now I would never EVER use the crap again. Just thought I would let you know, that's all. You would be much better off with either Gandini or Hepolites.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Or modern Omegas. These are quite tough and have recently survived an engine failure intact.

Yes, OMEGA must be good pistons, but they are expensive and I have not yet found the cause of the 400-kilometre tightening with the GPM.

Thanks alls.
