Has anyone got a tip for holding the crankcase breather assembly, on the end of the cam shaft, while trying to close the crankcases?
Hi All, I have a ‘49 Inter and do very little work myself, my job is mostly to source parts. My mechanic has asked me to find a battery box & thinks it should be the T shaped Lucas box but most listings state this should be pre-war models.
Has anyone fitted one of these kits. A mate called Brian is removing his magneto (with some difficulty - that bottom mounting bolt!!) and wants to replace it with this kit.

I have fitted the pistons and a friend just passed a comment - Jubilee Piston - Is there a Front & Back and a correct way round, or can they be fitted any how?
I wish to replace the coil on my newly rebuilt ES2. The coil that came with the bike is a Bosch TJ12/1, O22, 0222003091 6.
I've recently completed a rebuilt of my lovely old 1951 ES2, Plunger frame. A rebuilt gearbox and renewed primary drive was part of my project.

On a factory record that I recently received for a '62 ES2, there is a space the sheet for a fork number assigned at the factory. Does anyone know if or where that number is stamped/marked on the forks?
