I still have the pair of Dunstall Decibel silencers that I bought way back in the 70's. One's not too bad, but the other has quite a few places where the chrome has been scraped, is peeling around the exit, and generaly in a poor state.

Hi, having read the saga of ace conman Stuart Garner, I wonder what the situation is if he has an input for the manufacture of all Norton spares for all models. I understand that Donnington machines are most affected.

My 1935 16H was a 1 owner machine with original plates dug out of a barn 51yrs ago and was out of use before that. The wear in the bore is around 16thou (difference between unworn top of bore ...79mm...and just below the unworn lip.
Theres a 1964 Electra on ebay right now, asking £3,000! no bids, no wonder. Looks to be all there, but rough paint, no chromeware, broken headlight etc

IE: mounting the gauge temporarily [with least vibration].
What readings and conclusions have you reached?
Well it's official now, the 961 Commando range has 2021 as a year of grace before it's forced to permanently hang up it's boots (tyres?).

Quite disappointed when my card {bit of sticky paper) came through, I have joint membership of other clubs which still have individual cards but this joint bit of paper is cheap.
Hello my Dommie has been converted to 12v sometime in its life. Ammeter is bit scruffy and want to replace it, are they voltage sensitive see so many advertised as 6v

New to Norton - help please! Firstly apologies if this is covered elsewhere, but I have searched and am new to this site and the club.
Further to recent posts on oil supply matters I am thinking I would like oil gauge and an electronic rev counter on the 99. Both would need to be small ,say 50 mm Max and with the RC a range up to say around 7000 .
Having bought two battery retaining straps from Andover , I'm having a dickens of a job securing them in the corresponding 2 holes in my 72 Commando Batter carrier
