Consel wires

Hi, just finished wiring my 850 Mk3 (phew!).
Anyway, the wires from the master switch jam up hard against the headlamp shell & it ain't easy getting the consel to sit down nicely. I have bent the connectors as far as I dare, but still not happy with it.
Is there anything I can do, or just put up with it?
