Where did you go on your bike today?

Took the Navigator out today, first ride for about three weeks, I've been trying to put some miles on the Honda before its first service.

About 35 miles around the Swindon - Marlborough area, surprised by just how warm it was, very un-November!

I visited a friend who was pressing apples for making his cider.

Three weeks ago I attended the Moto Guzzi  club of Victoria Australia Spaghetti Rally in North East Victoria. 

I rode my Honda from Abingdon to Swindon, mid-afternoon. The car said 3 degrees on the trip up to Abingdon.  Endless road works didn't improve my mood!  

Took advantage of some nice weather for my last run of 2025, the Commander is now on the bench having its winter overhaul.

Well done for starting this Tony; good to see so many enjoying their machines regardless of the season.  I'm busy on the 500T but when it's back together ideal bike for a winter day-trip.

Evening all. My new bike was delivered this morning, I've been beyond excited this week. My first bike since I was 17 and my first Norton. What an absolute "event" it was to ride, despite having to keep it below the 3.500 rpm for its running in period. Only 45 miles covered on some fairly damp roads, I'm unlikely to ride much over winter but with it being new, I just couldn't wait......

Saturday was the 125th Anniversary of the first narrow gauge steam train to Gembrook in the Dandenong ranges here in Victoria.

Had to ride out to meet a friends newly acquired ES2 on the Solstice.

Boxing Day morning ,off to the Pied Bull at Farningham ,me on the 99DL ,son on his Atlas ,meet up with Ken on his SS (now with full .compliment of ponies!). Meet an old mate from the Nightingale cafe ( 1960's ton up rough house) . Few of us  alive  now. Bacon roll and a cuppa. Leave early before the VMCC mob arrive and block us in . Very chilly but heated jacket not turned on so not that cold with 4 layers.  Ride back through the lanes . Head cam finally working to get loads of shots of my headlamp . Oh well .

On Monday 29th Dec, twixt Xmas & New Year - a mid-day meeting.
Ian Loram, Dermot, Kev from Brixham & myself (Navi) all met up at the 'motion lotion' Shell Garage in West Exe, Tiverton - and headed out to Langport, scooping up Norton Rocket (Ronnie Dommi 650SS) in Wellington on the way. A lovely day, but oh so cold.....
Nipper also joined us from Bristol on his go faster KTM.

Here's my first Norton. Always admired the ES2 and managed to find my ideal bike really, one that needed a bit of fettling...

Bought from a chap in Wales he had it for 35 years and bought it in boxes, he had assembled it but it really needed a bit of playing with, here she is...
