I have had the petrol tank for my 1953 Dommi 88 rechromed and now need to paint the polychromatic grey panels on each side and down the top of the tank. Does anyone know where I could obtain templates for this?

I just wondered how common it is for the timing marks on the alternator rotor to be wrong.
After snapping several of my ankles I decided to go right back to basics and check the timing marks.
Following some work on the petrol tank I tried to refit the hand change gate today, only to find that the threads are stripped in one of the blind inserts in the side of the tank.
Can anyone tell me how to wire my pre war 16H with a replica Lucas U39 light switch as it doesn't have the No. 5 position, as in the original diagrams?

Just read on the BBC website that Stuart Garner was today (1.4.22) sentenced at Derby Crown Court over his pension frauds.
He received an 8-month custodial sentence, but this is suspended for 2 years.

The engine is rebuilt, The reason is long and complex and starts with bits of piston ring in the sump, found when investigating why so much oil was coming out the breather. The ring was obviously broken on assembly as the bores were fine.

Hi. I’ve fitted a new Amal Monobloc 376 to my Dommie 99 project. The only reliable way that I can get the bike to start and run is to have the air screw wound out by 2.25 full turns from the bottomed ‘home’ position.

Is there any trick or tip to fitting the push rod tunnel seals in the cylinder head ? I have tried inserting the seal into the head first, but then I can't push the tube into the seal.
