Rotor marks.

I just wondered how common it is for the timing marks on the alternator rotor to be wrong.

After snapping several of my ankles I decided to go right back to basics and check the timing marks.

Just read on the BBC website that Stuart Garner was today (1.4.22) sentenced at Derby Crown Court over his pension frauds.

He received an 8-month custodial sentence, but this is suspended for 2 years.

The engine is rebuilt, The reason is long and complex and starts with bits of piston ring in the sump,  found when investigating why so much oil was coming out the breather. The ring was obviously broken on assembly as the bores were fine.

Hi , is anyone running a SU carb, if so can they tell me how many turns out from full in they have. I have 4 turns out after following the instructions but not convinced its correct.

In order to fit my side stand to my Norton 650SS I needed to remove the primary chain case complete with inner part of the case. Therefore sadly I am having to remove the clutch and the alternator.

Picked up a chrome Slimline front mudguard today at an autojumble. It's clearly a repro item (you can see underneath it has been made from 3 seperate strips, rather than a single pressing as per original).

HI, I have a small problem with my Commando forks in that they seem to have too much travel when on the centre stand, main problem is that they pull on the lower flexible brake pipe and I believe this could actually stretch so much it would eventu
