Hi. I’ve just finished rebuilding my 1960 Dommie 99 basket case. I was counting on a second or third kick start as that’s what I’ve had with all of the Triumphs I’ve restored but the Norton is a trickier beast - it just won’t start.

I am using a stand alone air filter not the original set up on my 69-70 Norton Commando project.  I am using the original square oil tank that the breather went into the original air filter setup.

At the lower front of my rear mud-guard there is a gap of about 4" away from the lower frame mounting point - is that correct please?

hi i have been offered a featherbed es2 to renovate there seems to be no frame number, there is a engine number, will i have trouble getting it registered with a number plate,can anyone help thanks pete

I have been given a second hand interstate tank which I intend to use to replace the rotten GRP tank on my roadster. I need to pressure test the tank but don’t want to get the inside wet by filling it with a liquid/water.

Pushing my bikes on and off the bench  is a bit hazardous   due to  any oil drips that  make it very slippy,   Has anyone found a good solution. ?    Get rid of the Norton ?.
