My recently restored 16h has had its maiden voyage! A few niggles to sort, but it seems to be running very hot. Is there a cooler spark plug I should use?

Hello. Gearbox oil is somehow getting into the primary chaincase of my 99. Has anyone any ideas why?

My 1959 Dommie 99's centre stand does not self retract when pushed off the stand. I have to give it a light push with my boot. It's as if the spring is too far forward. Is there a correct place for the spring top hook?
I'm looking for a wind screen for my Dunstall fairing to be mounted on my 1967 Norton 650SS as well as a seat unt from the same era. If anyone has a source for the screen or a Dunstall seat unt they are willing to part with please PM me.
The Norton telescopic fork does have limitations. There is the Covenant kit, designed to give progressive hydraulic lock at the ends of fork movement.

I am looking at a non slippy oil to avoid clutch slip , I have used basic 20/50 and ATF but there is ATF and ATF. I have tried type F but it’s far too slippy and not like the ATF I remember, perhaps I am missing something?
