tank re-spray

looking to get my commando tank and side panels re-sprayed as they are starting to look a bit tatty. I live in north west, Cheshire. done a quick search in the services section and a company called "farrout paintwork" in congleton came up.

PW3 Camfshaft

I have just stripped my Combat motor down and the camshaft looks fine, but I'm considering fitting a new PW3 camshaft. I would be interested on members views to see whether its worthwhile.

1938 CS1 Bosch Magdyno

I have a 1938 CS1. The factory record states that it had a Bosch Magdyno fitted. Does any one know what model of Bosch Magdyno this would have been. I would like to get it back to factory original.

Our 67 Atlas is a rough (in all aspects) old brute that I threw together many years ago ,over the years its been amazingly reliable with minimal attention. We have bought bits to improve the bike ,but not got round to fitting them up to now.

19S front brake

My front brake judders which seems to be caused by a distorted brake hub. Does anyone know a firm in Dorset that can turn a hub that is no longer true. I want to do it without unlacing the wheel.

LED v battery life

Having just invested in a new lead/acid battery (6V) and some new LED's it occurs to me that as a happy battery is one which discharges/charges am I now going to in for a new battery more frequently as it will not be charging so much?

Sticky shift lever

John Morrissey here. I am the original owner of a Dec. 1972 750 Combat Interstate Commando. I had the outer case of the transmission off to replace the three Kick Start lever, shift lever and internal shift lever 'O' Rings.

Sprag 'revisited'

Hi. I know another sprag thread but this has been an on going issue for me.

I bought my Mk111 and within two days and as a result of the tiniest of backfires I had a disintegrated Sprag.
