Any suggestions as to why my short roadholders are topping out and making a âclunkâ on full extension when rebounding after a bump or dropping into a pothole? Just looking for any suggestions to narrow it down before I investigate.
Can anyone identify the set screws (?) part no 23573 that should attach the cover plate to the headstock on my 1960 slimline frame?
I'm looking through some just-acquired literature for my just-acquired 1961 ES2 and if I'm reading it correctly the valve gear is oiled by gravity rather than a pump. Is that really right?
The straight handlbars on my bike are so low that the clutch and front brake cable routing is interfered with by the tops of the telescopic forks. In this position, after time, the outer casings of the cables get damaged.
What forks can be fitted to a 1960 wide featherbed frame ?

Hello Everybody,
does anyone get the drawing of the cast iron racing front hub assembly?
I'm a little lost with spacer, axle, because I just own the hub.
I will also be glad to get the spacers dimension to reproduce.
I have a 1959 Model 50. I have removed the outer gearbox cover in order to investigate why the clutch lever is not functioning correctly.
I've just done an 80 mile round trip and am convinced that the bike seems to have more vibration than normal. Not just the bars but also up through the seat/tank.
I've noticed that the left footrest differs from the right one. It's fitted whith a distance piece, so it couldn't interfere the rear brake rod.
Is this an original fitment?
It's a 650SS from 1966.

I'm finished with LEDs.
I've sourced some from a, for me until now, reputable web-shop.
BA9S, wedge bulbs and yellow BA15S. The wedge bulbs didn't last. After the first removement the contact wires are out of order.
My question is, would a clutch actuator lever from a dommi/atlas make my clutch easier to pull in.
Please no essays on clutch stack height. All my plates are good size.
well this arrived this a.m from N.O.C.
Lets hope the threads are better produced than the centre bolt.......it will work, but very shoddy!

Just putting together my Model 50 following a major rebuild - trying to get clutch working. There appears to be too little movement on the clutch push rod. I am wondering if I have misplaced something during the reassembly.
