N15cs camshaft
Just putting a N15 (Atlas) engine together - it was in bits when I got it - just noticed the camshaft timing side has 3 woodruff key slots in it spaced at 120 deg? I thought Norton cams had single key slot.

I wonder if anyone else has experienced their valve adjusters boring a hole in the tops of the exhaust valve stems.
Two years ago my 650SS had a full engine overhaul. Recently, I had a clicking noise from the rocker area.
Do I need to remove the primary chain case cover in order to take the starter motor out, I have removed the two visible upper motor bolts and the extra long bolt that goes through the primary chain case but it still feels solidly attached .
I guess the kickstart on my Model 50 must be a more recent part - the diameter of the thing is just a tad too big so even with the clamping bolt tightened almost enough to shear the bolt, the kickstart comes loose with repeated attempts to start t
Just had a ride around the block on my Electra. It is fitted with a Boyer Bransden ignition system. I'm not sure which Mark. It was intermittently misfiring.
Hi , just wondering what the current opinion of aftermarket fork stantions is , i am finding pairs of them on ebay that claim to be hard chromed and ground that are cheaper than a single tube from AN , but also older posts on other sites warning
I was wondering if anybody might have some suggestions as to how to free a seized piston from its barrel, it is still attached to the con-rod which is still attached to the crankshaft via a seized big-end.

Happy new Year all. On my Model 50 the small oil pipes coming out of the rocker box are plastic and have melted! Any suggestions where I can get proper parts or make something more robust and durable?
Some time ago someone posted pictures of a pedal extension to make getting the bike up on the centre stand easier (well it couldn't be harder...). Stupidly I didn't take a copy of the pics. Any chance of reposting the details?

Fitting new cables on my 69 twin Amal 30mm carbs.
Really struggling to get the 4 (2x Choke, 2x throttle) cables on the splitters and then join them to the two cables that run to the handle bars.
On the dynamo model 1956, should there be a washer/spacer/shim on the camshaft in the timing case, under the dynamo-driving spider ?
The original 1957/1958 Maintenance Manual Para 30 (dynamo model) states that there should be one.

Is it me or do the “packages” Mark refers to need some sort of code or recognition on the NOC shop to gain the discounts? I went to go for “all four” but not able to at £40

Having just read the "Carburettor Tickling" article in the club mag, I though my experience would be of interest.
I have been having an intermittent problem with the clutch, when the bike is hot some times the clutch slips when trying to re-start the engine, Reading the brilliant compendium and Andy's advice I have boiled the friction plates in washing powder
Can anyone please advise me whether the MCR1 voltage control box should be mounted under the saddle ( how is it attached?) or on top of the toolbox please, for my 1937 16h civilian model

Hi , as part of them gearbox renovation i decided to replace the sleeve gear bushes ( even though they seemed ok ) - bought 2 new ones but when i made a start on changing them i found 3 bushes in the sleeve gear , outer 2 same length as new ones
Having stripped down the Swinging Arm on my '72 Roadster I am faced with having to fit a 0.010" oversized spindle to take out excess play. Can anyone recommend a source of 0.885" hand reamers please??
