Hi I am looking for a set of girder forks for a WD 16 H I have been warned away from the e bay Indian made ones has any one got a good word to say about these forks, the prices range from £350 to £650 is that a reflection on quality?

I am re-assembling my 16H clutch. I notice that the friction inserts at the back of the clutch sprocket/basket unit are flush with the surrounding steel. But inside the basket they are quite well proud.

My es2 has started to make a bit of top end noise, certainly more than it did so I wipped off the head this morning and think I found the culprit the edge of the valve Spring/ cap has been hitting the inside of the rocker box.

Does anyone know if the Navigator uses the same petrol tank as the Jubilee and Electra?

My resleeved original 376 carb on my 1960 99 only ticks over, albeit richly, with the air screw removed!

All is clean inside and the float level correct, its driving me nuts!

When putting together the alternator on my Norton, I understand that there should be a 8 thou gap between the rotor magnet and the stator.

I have just purchased a 1953 ES2, in reasonable condition.

I want to be able to replace / top up all appropriate gear boxes / sumps etc. I have purchased "The book of the Norton" but it is very dated in its references to oils etc.

I'm in the states (NY) and need a tank for my 1970 Norton Commando fastback, looking for steel or alloy, does anyone know where I can get one? Not interested in ones from India.

Got a Navigator project with no gearbox or primary drive, engine No.19/106982/P the later gearbox type.No luck in finding this type of box,all I have is the main shaft and one cog.Will a complete early box fit or are the casings different?

I bought a couple of the small and large square seals to try to seal my leaky box, but having taken the cover off I can't see how to fit them, the big ones are loose on the shafts and I can't figure out where the small ones go?

Decided to clean clutch plates. Found that I had a extra clutch plate. All the manual drawings show seven plates I have eight.

On a 1947 Model 18 engine What does the letter Q denote on the stampings on the casings? I know its something to do with the head but what I do not know.
