Does anybody know where I can get the star shaped spring that goes under the damper knob on the side of late 30's girders? Mines never had one and they do tend to keep going once you hit a bump! I need to re-bush the forks before this summer so I'd like to get them right before they go back together.

Thanks for the reply Alan but unfortunately not. I need one with 6 points to match up and sit in the knob. I've been told Velocette ones fit so have ordered one from Grove Classic. The outer diameter looks spot on but the inner diameter is to large, not a problem as I can make up a top hat washer to reduce it easier than I'd be able to open the hole up if it was too small!
