Just out of interest, is anyone in the UK doing anything like this? http://www.amr-of-tucson.com/nortech.html It's got to be cheaper (Edit: and more effective) than getting a MKIII-style timing cover from AN ... TIA

I have done both the cover and the oil pump myselfas I have a Bridgeport butwith a couple of changes, used X rings inside the pump on the shafts instead of o rings to double the sealing surfaces, used a nitirile ball on the cover to hopefully improve the seal on the pump outlet. Will fit over winter once the riding season is over (have 2 bikes and one is in bits currently which provides the parts to be modified and allowing the other to be ridden). If I confirm it works then I can offer the service with 3 balls in different materials so you get to choose which one to fit before assembly.

Sounds great! Yes, it would be a winter job for me too. Please do let me know if it works for you. Cheers.
