I read somewhere recently of a chap who'd been biking for 60 years or so and was refused insurance when he reached 80. Has anyone else experience of this?

That only gives me 1 yr 10 months of biking left!

Footrest rubber glue

Hi all. Any recommendations on the best glue to stop gearchange rubbers falling off with use? Obviously SuperGlue is ideal for rubber to metal but I wondered if it is too good i.e. you can't ever remove the rubber if it becomes worn.

Pre war tool box key?

It's been a week since I brought my 38 ES2 home.

The previouys owner told me to push the tool box latch button and the box will open. Well it's locked. Is there a universal key that may fit? Can it be picked..lol

Boyer Ignition

Hello. I decided to put your Boyer ignition on my atlas. In order not to modify ATD, I ordered a Magneto drive sprocket at Norvil. But when I got the sprocket, there are only 16 teeth on it and not 18 as it is on ATD.

Gear selection

Iâm still having selection problems, I can move the selector cam with a screw driver through the gears with the outer cover off, but donât seem to be able to do so with the cover on, itâs as if the stop plate isnât allowing enough movement.

Had an inaugural run round the block having resurrected the 1936 Model 18 bought as a non runner last year so a happy day. I'd planned for a longer run but the steering felt, well, interesting but highly unpredictable.

I used rattle can smooth Hammerite on the headlamp brackets of my Jubilee and achieved a really smooth gloss finish but it chipped easily.

amc clutch problem

1960 dominator clutch pushrod will not lift pressure plate evenly . I tried to adjust spring IE two screwed with a 1/8 inch of thread protruding , but plate will not lift true off clutch plates.

Opening images?

Not a suggestion but a query. Sometimes when I open a link to an image (using ctrl + click, Firefox) it opens a new tab with the image; sometimes it opens a new tab which is empty but downloads the image. Any ideas why?

Front Brake

Front Leading Shoe Brake is not performing too well.

Ive installed new shoes,return springs,expander cams and brake cable from RGM. Cleaned inside of drum with 600 grit.

MOT Test

Hi everyone. Have you looked at the NEW MOT test? No oil leaks, no smoke. That means no Classic Vehicles in my vocabulary. How do you get an old Ford Diesel through? or a leaking Norton Chaincase?
