1960 dominator clutch pushrod will not lift pressure plate evenly . I tried to adjust spring IE two screwed with a 1/8 inch of thread protruding , but plate will not lift true off clutch plates. I have reassembled with cush rubbers removed as a process of elimination 
. When I spin the clutch on the main shaft it runs eccentric , but feel this is acceptable. can any one help

Check that all the plates are flat. Look at the outside face of the spring boxes ,they can wear ridges against the clutch center. Look at the inside faces of the drum ,if marked by the edges of the plates then the drum has too much slack and will interfere with the plates as they lift. The drum may have too much slack on the roller plate/rollers allowing it to wobble( I fixed this with O/S rollers.
