I just want to say a huge thank you to Peter Holland for his hard work and expertise in producing a superb article on the Electra Electric Starter system which appears in this month's Roadholder magazine. It contains everything and more that Norton never published but we Electra owners need to maintain such an important and often misunderstood system. I just wish it had been available 5 years ago! Whilst I'm at it another big thank you to Andy Sochanik for all his expert advice and this month's excellent article on Lightweight cam followers and Al Osborn's for his wealth of electrical advice over the years. There are many others including the superb NOC Spares Team who contribute their expertise and knowledge so thank you too for helping me and many others keep their Lightweight Nortons on the road! I was even driven to pen a short letter to Roadholder mentioning some of these points. This forum is brilliant - as is Roadholder - and so much better than the FB "community".
