I would be grateful if anyone can tell me the thread size of the drive side crankshaft. The nut from the club spares goes on a couple of threads on then stops.

Hi Alan,
On my 1958 model 19 the drive side main shaft thread is 3/4"-20 TPI. Check to see if the threads on the nut you got is the same with a thread pitch gage. If it is the same, check for a small burr on the nut threads.

I`ve just bought a 20tpi die and tap to run over the threads. Thanks for your input Albert.
