Hi Ron,

Welcome to the wacky world of Norton!

I'm the editor of Roadholder and sadly I'm less clued up on singles but...

Try Norvil: although they are best know for Commando and twin spares they do have bits for singles.

You could also try Mick Hemmings onthesame basis.

Mike Pemberton (Pushrod Performance) would be a good resource for you. He's a singles guru. If he cannot supply the spares he'll know a man who can.

All of these people advertise in Roadholder regularly.

BMS should be able to supply a copy parts list. If you're looking for original then it's a matter of biding your time on eBay or one of the dealers such as Pooks.

There isn't really any one Norton singles specialist so it mostly means a search around.

Russell Motors have a lot but it can be easiest if you're close enough to visit.

RGM motors list quite a lot of pre-Commando parts and have a full range of sprockets etc.

Best bet to my mind for knowledge of original cables is J.J. Cables - He's the chap who's always at the big shows and jumbles. It's worth bearing in mind of course that if you no longer have original handlebars and controls, original spec. cables may not fit.

If you need to delve into engine and transmission, then I'd second the recommendation for Mike Pemberton.
