Anyone who followed my iron head rigid Inter on the NOC National Rally run this last weekend will have seen the smoke screen on pulling away from a standstill. Any ideas why, or similar experiences would be very welcome.

No, not mine! Just read on the MCN website that the 2 Atlas models developed at Donnington have been dropped by TVS- with Norton confirming that “there are no plans to produce the Atlas”
I bought a Jubilee a few years ago, with out looking at the numbers. ( OK Foolishly ) Any way I can not find the frame number, I believe It should on the head stock behind that plate. I can't see it maybe because it has been re-enamelled?

I bought an external oil filter head for the spin on type oil filter, part number 063139, from NOC shop recently but I can't identify the thread in the mounting holes. It is a fine thread but not cycle thread (26 TPI) or BSF and it is not metric.
What is the general consensus on crankcase breathing ?

Hi, went to change the pistons in my Atlas, as I've found some proper low compression ones at last and found this, The engine has only done about 3000 miles since being professionally rebuilt and seemed to be running ok.

I have to say that as always the Flanders Branch Begonia Rally was it usual fun self, 37 years of organisation by our Belgian friends has come to an end. Fantastic memories, great friendships and most of all good fun.

Hi again everyone my exhaust front pipes are not the standard balanced pipes but are I believe earlier commando pipes unbalanced and fitted to pea shooters I had to remove my right side down pipe and when doing so 2 collets and a domed washer fell

Well the Minnesota beast is on the road. I have a 54 big 4 with a watsonian palma on the left side. After about 75 miles of learning(never drove a sidecar) I am getting more comfortable.

Does anyone know of a supplier for the correct pinch-stud left-hand fork slider 06-0351 for an early drum brake Commando? Andover-Norton are selling them to take a bolt not a stud, which isn't what I want for a correct restoration.
