The bike is 12V positive earth from when I got it and I have already upgraded to a an Al Osborn A Reg 1 solid state regulator, stripped the carbs, ultrasonic cleaned them and fitted new jets throughout and fitted a longer kick start lever.

hello, wonder if anyone could tell me if this is the correct wheel spacer for a 19s . i have looked at the diagrams and it looks to be the one. wondered if they do one with a flange on the end.

I'm rebuilding my gearbox. Bearings, shafts, gears and consumables are all brand new from Andover Norton.

Is it correct that the rotary uses the same 267mm diameter disc as Yamaha XJ900F on the rear?

My 500 Dominator is normally a sweet-running bike.  It has suddenly developed a bad stutter, and also loud bangs on the over-run.  I think the issue is magneto rather than carburation. 

Hello everybody, I'm a new member. Recently bought a 1962 dominator 600cc slimline. I've come back to bikes after 40 years. My first norton.

The rubber on my Avon fairing is getting old and I have tried to find a new one but without success.

The clutch feel has recently changed on my 1958 99. There is now rather more slack in the clutch lever than until recently and a straining sound from the lever itself.

Hi, I need to know the size/thread pitch the front brake hydraulic hose ends for the standard disc brake set up.

Can anyone help? I have just taken my 961 out for its first ride. 

there appears to be an oil leak. Is this normal or likely to heal up. 

I first went to the IOM TT back in the 1960's and have been back a few times including 1978 when my hero SMBH returned.

I'd appreciate some further guidance with this please. Which way does the lower gearbox stud go round? It's not obvious to me why one side has a lot more thread than the other.

Hi, I have now tried three times to advertise my CCM for sell, just over one year old. It's for sale due to my ill health but I still cannot find my bike in For Sale. What am I doing incorrectly?

the model is a 16h. About 1940 but not sure. I would like to know what is needed to join the brake rod to the foot brake. Seems to be 2 pieces, a part that screws onto the rod and also the pin part. Can anyone please help?

I'm starting out on a rebuild that will require a repaint. It's a 1955 featherbead inter.
It hasn't a great deal of mile on it but it is cosmetically decrepit.

At the above event (excellent) I spotted a rotary Norton in a white sports fairing arriving at the Wharf.  I failed to spot it in the line up to have a chat but it was a great looking machine. Anyone know it?

My '72 Commando spent most of its life in the USA.  Five years ago the PO imported it and, with the help of the club, got it registered in the UK with an historic plate.

Hi,  Like a fool I've been tinkering with my Amal monoblock 375/48 this afternoon and have rather lost my way with the basic settings for the Pilot Air Screw and the Throttle Stop Screw.

Hello I am wanting to identify the year of my international 350. Stamped on the left of the crank with 4024. From research it suggests 350s had their own numbering and this suggests the engine is somewhere between 1929 to 1936.

Evening all. Just seen an Electra for sale on carandclassic.com. As I collect photos from ads for future reference, on taking a closer look at this one, it appears to show an inline oil filter mounted below the oil tank. 

Please someone give some comparison to two bikes with regards to kick starting ease.

Hi all, after having my crankshaft balanced & main bearings done, I'm still chasing severe handlebar vibration up to 3500rpm when it smooths out, impossible to use mirrors at town speeds.

I've been draining the sump and pouring it back on my '70 Commando after it's wet sumped for a few years now.
