LED Bulbs
I've just fitted LED bulbs in the headlight, pilot light and instrument lights on my Mk3 to reduce load as I like to ride with the headlight on.
All work OK and I am very pleased with them except for a strange consequence.

After a good ride of about 50 miles, disaster.

So, here's an interesting one. It is probably my insecurity, fed by inexperience, but 'when in doubt, don't cross the road' as we say here in the Netherlands. We'll not like that, we do it in Dutch: 'Bij twijfel niet oversteken.'
Hi,

Where is this from? I have looked at Andover Norton gearbox diagram, and can't see it.
Any suggestions?

I will be attending and will say hi if anyone else is in the area.
I think Al Osborn or Grant Tiller may be best placed to comment, if they are around at the moment.
Talking to a ex Commando and brit bike owner recently and he said after his bikes had done a few miles every time he did an oil change he added an oil additive that prevented smoking and reduced oil consumption .
