I have been trying to get my 99 to run better, First it was rich, dirty plugs. But went like a rocket while running A new needle jet and nearly seized it up!.
Haven't had a Commando for about 40 years TBH, but I've got enough parts from a Seeley Weslake that makes building one (Not standard.) a viable option.
Has anybody any experience of fitting a Legendary electronic tacho? I bought one and couldn't get any sense out of it (indicates very low rpm and doesn't respond to the calibration switch).
So after 9 months in the building I’ve finally finished my Norton Metisse, well except for the front mudguard that needs a bit if fettling before I fit the proper one.
Hi
Does anyone have details, photos of the jubilee deluxe without the rear valance attached?
I have a spare drive that needs work ,it is marked 19/10 and BG5330/847 , not sure what it came from . Is it likely to be any use on a Chrono featherbed 99 or Atlas with magnetic speedo??.
This is not Norton related but as owners of cherished vehicles I'm hoping that members will understand the heart ache involved and re-publicise this notice as widely as possible:

The bike ("61 ES2) only starts charging with no lights on, at high revs, the battery will soon go flat in town riding.
Can anyone suggest some good websites to find spares for my 16H please? I have been using Norvil but they seem rather pricey.

Hello,
Am I correcting in thinking an 850 MK3 Timing cover fits pre MK3 850's, if so is it just a direct replacement that needs no other modifications? Thanks.

This event has been cancelled. The local council were not happy about it. Hi ho, this is annoying to say the least. Stay safe. Neil

The issue is that the '72 and '73 diagram does not match the wires on my '74 mk2a roadster.
