Lucas PRS 8 Headlamp switch
My 1961 unit worked fine when I rebuilt the bike, but now the headlight circuit is open circuit.
Has anybody any expertise in opening these things up, cleaning and reassembly?

Was there a tool kit delivered with this bike? What was in it?), and where did one keep it whilst riding normally?

I've owned my Commando Mk3 850 for two years. I've recently noticed that the bike develops a low down vibration which appears to be noticeable around the gearbox, it looks to be shaking on rev run off (fine when raving up, shakes when revs cut).
Hi, Advise needed, I have removed the old bearings from the wheel as per the manual but found a double row bearing on the brake side and 2 single row bearings on the other side, query is this correct as the manual states 1 double and 1 single.
I need to replace the clutch lever spring. Can the clutch lever be lifted from the operator body to replace the spring without draining down the oil and removing the gearbox cover. I am aware that the arm has a ball bearing.

Please could someone advise if the number plate support bracket (AN 06.3727)should go on top of the frame 'clip' (AN 06.1121) or between the 'clip' and the mudguard itself.

I'm looking for the good way to disassemble the clutch worm nut on the Dollhead gearbox as i want to change the feltwasher inside.
Did you guys have a good one? As i dont want to destroy the brass.

can anyone give me the dimensions of wd 16h headlamp brackets so that i can make some as the ones on e bay seem to have all sorts of different bends. thanks pete
Hi, I’ve searched both on here and the Access Norton forum and the only commercially available paddock stand for a Commando Mk3 that I can find is made by Pit Bull.
Will the NOC be represented, with a stand or somesuch, at Popham this Sunday?

My 1972 750 has matching numbers on the frame, engine, and gearbox, however on the gearbox there is a space after the number and then the letter G. Can anyone tell me what this letter G means please?

Probably been answered before at some time but on fitting a new standard camshaft to my MK3 i found when test fitting the cam that as soon as the nut was nipped so did the cam.
Does anybody have a copy of the DVD from the NOC entitled "John Hudson Gearbox Strip " in PAL format that they no longer want/need?
I don't think it's ever going to be back in stock at the "NOC Shop" somehow..

So my 1951 Manx is completely stripped down. The engine and gearbox has been rebuilt all parts have been painted, now I want to start rebuilding it. My question is what would be the best sequence to do this?
My recent acquired 72 Roadster project currently has no clutch cable. The straightest route from the gearbox seems to be up through a large hole in the bottom of the battery carrier. Is this correct please?
I want to change my M50, Lay down box, kick lever from a fixed to a folding. I have not been able to get any good info. on which parts will work. the spline is 24mm dia.
Earlier this year I replaced one Long Roadholder stanchion on my '56 19S. The old stanchion had one very small area where the chrome had pitted, so oil was leaking past the seal.
Have the outer cover off the gearbox to fit a new gasket. Is jointing compound required? If so, any recommendations? Thanks.

My Mk.1 Sport has started playing up again - will not run smoothly at low speed/revs , it will run fine a higher revs and under load . I have had a power commander fitted and had it on a reputable dyno and produced 78 bhp at the back wheel .
