Have a 59 dominator 99 restored in mid 90s.

in my last post I was awaiting collection of my new project - my first Norton - a 650ss in an Atlas frame. I was pretty certain the engine is one of the first 650ss from Sept 1962 as the serial number and stamping says so.

Canada calling. The kick starter shaft on my lay down Model 7 gearbox has two grooves which would appear to be for o ring seals. Checking the gearbox diagramme no seals are shown. Should there be a seal? Thanks for your help. 

Looking at the prices being charged for tyres that very rarely wear out and often are changed thro age , I see that you can get a pair of Servis tyres including tubes and tapes for half the price of the usual offerings .

I’ve been sitting on my ‘55 Dominator for a few years .. it’s been gathering dust in the back of the shop .. the K2F had lost whatever it is they lose and I sent it to a genius to return its mojo … fitted a new mag chain ..

Can anyone tell me if a 1966 Atlas alternator will fit a 1960 dominator 88

Going over the front forks of my recently aquired 650 ,i came across a problem not seen before. A trial fit of axle to forks (without wheel or mudguard ) revealed the axle to not want to go through the offside slider.

Has anyone fitted a 4.10 x 19 rear tyre ? , Looks a little large ,bike is 1963.
