When the wider yoke was introduced on the 1964 650SS, did the clocks also gain the twin mount at the same time? Or did the speedo stay in the headlamp and a remote tacho still stay for a while as per earlier models?

Well I`ve had some good advice so far from you blokes so here`s a couple of more questions . I`ve got the whole engine in bits now so will be rebuilding after a long awaited holiday in Australia.
looking through the tech books and our suppliers offers there is some confusion as to the threads of the bridge studs , they are either cycle or BSF. logic would say whitworth into the slider and cycle for the nuts , But no . cycle I think.
Hello, just rebuilding a US import that was part complete, and noticed the frame is different from all of the other pictures I have looked at - only noticed this when it came to hanging the silencers!
My 63 650 was orriginally a 6v bike but has been converted to 12v by the previous owner ,it has a frame and clamping angle to fix the battery . What is the battery to fit the space ?

I am having problems fitting the primary chaincase cover onto my rebuilt '63 650SS. With the cover in place I do not have any threads on the centre footrest sleeve exposed to screw on the centre nut.
Hi chaps, working on my 1960 99 Slimline, does anyone know the socket size to fit the Norton/AMC clutch centre nut, or is a box spanner called for?
