I seem to have aquired some new FAG bearings, ref NU306E M1, bronze cages , suitable for a Dommy? suspect they may be a thou OS to fit in slightly worn housings ?.
I am trying to find a tacho drive for my Dominator 99. They are obtainable from Andover or RGM at quite a hefty price. I notice ones on Ebay selling for about £25. They are intended for a vintage Massey Ferguson Tractor.
Bit of a mystery on rear hub bearing for 1967 N15CS (standard Atlas hub)
Bearing is on the sprocket side and is the one in the hub, part no 17721
I have a 1969 Mercury SS. The steering dampers normally have two holes drilled, but mine has four holes. Can anybody tell me why my dampers would have four holes and the reason for it. Would appreciate if somebody could throw some light on why

Managed to get out on my dom 99 deluxe at the weekend and within a few short miles I had engine oil leaks running down the left side cover.

I've attempted to fit a new 12v, 3 phase alternator to my basket case rebuild of a '62/3 Norton 650SS.
I am working on an Atlas bought by a friend of mine recently. Deciding that the cam chain and adjuster could do with replacing I discovered that it has been running with only nine rollers between the sprockets rather than ten.
Please could somebody give me any clue to the problem with my forks.
I just can't see what is wrong with them. The problem is they are making a horrible "clunk" noise when they fully extend.
