Heavy Twins

Just renewed my membership today! Was riding my 1967 Norton 650SS for the last time this year today as well. It is not a numbers matching bike nor is it in standard trim but I love it. 

Has anybody noticed a click sound coming from roadholder forks when under compression.
It is not unduly harsh or loud but definitely there every time you compress the forks, and it seems to emanate from the middle somewhere.

Carrying out engine overhaul on a 650SS I acquired in May this year. Nice looking machine on the outside, but have found a number of horrors inside the motor.

With regards to the cables are they the same for both? I only have the one here which I think was for the choke.

One of the missing items from my bike is the Petcock I think it was removed when the tank was sent for chrome. 
Can anybody point me in the right direction as to the correct version for a 1956 Dominator 99?

Hi I thought I'd chucked in an LED bulb as slightly brighter than standard bulbs, but pop - fuse went!?  
Knowing little about 1961 / converted lectrics, is this expected?

A favour to ask.  What diameter is the rear wheel spindle? 
The full width alloy hub type fitted to the various feather bed models.
