Light Twins

Just thought I would put a photo on of my 1960 jubilee . Not far away from the finish line now . Wiring loom to fit , electronic ignition and the outer gear ratchet and pawl to sort out  .

Hi all . I'm having trouble getting all the gears to select when fitting the mechanism .

Hi. I purchased my Navigator last year and disccovered a problem straight away that makes it unrideable. The spider in my clutch has been badly damaged by a previous owner and is beyond repair. My bike is a 1961 model and has the 11/16ths shaft.

Moving swiftly on.... the silencers fitted to my Electra are circular in cross section and are approximately 3" diameter. The kickstart fouls the RHS silencer even though the pipe is as far inboard as possible.

Can I use LED bulbs to give a better light on a standard 6 volt Lucas system.
I would like to use them on all lights on it if possible.
Does anyone have any experience of this.

does anybody know where i can buy a 12 v loom to convert my 1962 navigator or someone that can make me a full loom

I now have the Electra back on its wheels and off the lift - always a slightly fraught procedure but successfully carried out.

After many diversions and interruptions I have now finalised (more or less) my timing side timing arrangement.

I have seen 2 needle jet specs for the Electra - .105 and .1055. Any idea which is correct? Incidentally, apparently the previous owner couldn't get it to run properly.
