Quick carb question - Electra
I have seen 2 needle jet specs for the Electra - .105 and .1055. Any idea which is correct? Incidentally, apparently the previous owner couldn't get it to run properly.

Hello, I am trying to rewire the headlight of a 350 . Can anyone provide me with the complete wiring diagram for the two switches ? Thanks Philip
Please, can anyone tell me what AMC forks I am trying to fit to a jubilee? See attached photos.
Steering head assembled and seems to work well with assistance from illustrated forks parts list.
I'm well on the way with my jubilee restoration but need some advice on my barrel situation . I'm thinking about getting them re lined .
I have a heavy duty 12 volt battery under the seat of my Electra. I don't have the proper battery strap (previous owner had used a bit of bunjy cord) so thought I could fashion something out of stuff I had lying around.
I'm not keen on having to remove the sump plate to drain the crankcase should this become necessary. I noted an item in the light twins compendium where Martin Jones had drilled and tapped the plate and fitted a 5mm setscrew.
The Electra shows its cheapskate FB origins in a number of areas although many of the design features seem excellent. One thing I think awful is the mickey mouse rear brake stop which is merely a bit of bent tin trapped under the footrest.
Specifically the pipe from the oil tank to atmosphere. Is it directed down to the front end of the rear chain guard or elsewhere?
I'm getting conflicting information. I thought the standard arrangement was to the chain guard.
Planning ahead for an inevitable need for a rebore for my Electra in near future and with NOS pistons rather than hens teeth I have a set of new +20 thou Hepolite pistons but my bores are already +30 thou.
