Hi everyone, is there a switch for front brake lever? If there is something available please let me know where to buy one? I have looked on Amazon but didn't find one.
Many thanks Roger
My Dommi 88 is fitted with an SS Camshaft ( marked T2219@3 ) it seems. Does this require Pushrods and Valve springs as used on the 650 SS and Atlas models to be fitted ? I came accross this advice in the Haynes Manual (chapter 1 -22 ) .
Hi all
I think I have the wrong kickstart shaft bush fitted to my gearbox it seems too long to be able to fit the kickstart return spring any ideas on a easy fix would be much appreciated
I bought a rear brake plate for my Norton 650ss - advertised as Dommie plate but the brake shoe pivots have wire circlips instead of retaining plate/tab washer and bolts.
I assume it's an earlier plate from ES2 or very early twin.
This is regard to my previous topic "Chain Adjustment". So I received the correct aligning [dowel] bolt for the rear wheel to brake hub and believe it or not everything now lines up far happier although still displaced towards the timing side.
Hello Norton people. This is my first post so here goes. From my investigations, I understand that my frame is from a 1956 Dominator. It’s a Triton I bought for £300 some (cough) 40 years ago.
Despite reading everything I could I cant find any real descriptions or photos as to what they actually are or look like. I realise one pumps more oil and can do more harm than good but how do I know what has been fitted to my 59 ` Dommi 88 ?
One of my Cam followers is badly worn /out of shape where the Push Rod fits. Mine are chamfered back and front and appear to identify as a standard `Flat foot` according to the photos of identification in my Dominator service notes V1.2 manual.
