Please can anybody tell me how I can check the high tension leads contacts within the body of the magneto in a K2FC Lucas magneto?
So, this bike has reverse chamber 389 monobloc carbs. I have fitted new needles and am now going to replace the main jets as they are probably worn like the needles were. The bike has high compression pistons and thorspark electronic ignition.
I've found a few posts on upper shock absorber mountings but nothing similar to my issue
I'm trying to fit a new set of Shocks (From NoC shop) to my slimline 99 but the upper bush will not fit in the frame channel
Not wishing to remove the magneto would someone tell me the remedy to overcome an issue in which I get a spark from one plug on my twin but not the other and yet the one cylinder would not fire up at all.
Wellll , finally got the bike, a nice NORTON Dominator 88,cafe racer.
The side tank badges on my Atlas have severe pitting on them. They clean up and the chrome does attempt to shine through but that pitting aint going away.
I've heard they're made of a type of pot metal that doesn't take chroming well.
Can anyone point me in the direction of who might be able to furnish me with keys for the steering lock and also Feridax throttle lock on my bike?
The only number/ref I can see on the steering lock says PROVPAT WBB
I have a 1959 99 with distributor can this model be changed to a magneto ?
Does anyone know if the Tufnol caged gearbox bearings are available, as recommended by Mick Hemmings - supposed to be kinder on the layshaft. All rebuild kits I've seen have roller alternative.
Thanks
