Can anyone point me in the direction of who might be able to furnish me with keys for the steering lock and also Feridax throttle lock on my bike?
The only number/ref I can see on the steering lock says PROVPAT WBB
The Feridaz steering lock has the number 584 stamped inside the lower clamp
Feridax Key

Not quite so effective
You can still ride the bike with a Feridax locked throttle. Just pull the cable. Can be a bit jerky but it works...

A good locksmith will be…
A good locksmith will be able to cut a new key . I recently got a set of keys cut for my Feridax throttle lock by a local (well stocked) locksmith. While probably unnecessary, I drilled out the two barrel securing pins and brought in the cylinder and the throttle assembly. He tried several blanks, then cut a matching blank for €7. Then re-fitted the barrel with steel pins and some Araldite. It is working perfectly now.
The fitting blank is a ‘JMA’, number on back ‘LF 15’ - my Feridax is also marked 584

Hi Graham.
10 years ago my brother gave me back my old Feridax locking twistgrip which I didn't even know he had but he no longer had the keys. As you say there is a number inside the twistgrip and I contacted a company in Bournemouth (581 Charminster Road, BH8 9RQ, phone 01202 513787) called Morlands and they eventually provided me with a replacement. The first key they provided, which presumably was the correct one for that number, didn't work and I ended up sending the lock part of the twistgrip to them and they then sent me the correct key albeit without a number on it. According to their invoice their web address is eMORLANDS.com but my browser tells me this is insecure so I haven't actually visited and I don't know if they are still in business. I think the keys were by Wilmot Breeden so a more general search may find other possible outlets which could help you. For what it's worth the 2 keys they supplied cost me £13.54 in 2013.
Good luck.
