Hello to all Sparkplugs for Magneto models only , I have found that Bosch W7DTC ,from www.The Green sparkplug.Co Heat Range is the same as Champion N5/N6Y and Have NO resistors in them and give's better starting and a cleaner exhaust and some fuel saving ,As its the Resistors that does harm to the Magneto , any spark plug with the letter R in it as a resistor fitted in them , and its the same for spark plug caps make sure you do not have a resistor in the plug cap .your magneto will fail in time with a resistor in the ignition system ,Magnetos Hate resistors! I have been using NGK BP7ES for probably 40 years now. They don't have resistors either (Beware the BPR7ES which has - note the R in there as Anna pointed out). They seem to work a treat too. Far better than Champion in my experience. It's at least 30 years since I had the mag overhauled and I still get first or second kick starting, even with a sump full of SAE 40 on a cold day. Even the finest oil pump will let oil gradually ooze into the sump over the course of a month or two...
