Light Twins

Now that I have got my Jubilee engine reliably kicking over, I noticed that the pipe above the drive sprocket (see picture) is producing oil (which is now all over the patio).

Can anyone tell me if  the advertise part no 040079 oil seals are the correct cross section ones Many Thanks Duncan.

I am having a problem with oil leaking from the o rings on the inner shaft of the gear lever selector

shaft, I have changed the o rings twice it last about 20 miles then it leaks again any one got any ideas. Kind Regards Duncan.

Not sure if I dreamt this or not.  Are our spares team looking for a suitable replacement for the swinging arm bush, aka "silentbloc" bush?  I think there was some discussion as to whether or not it was the same as the heavyweight?

Would anyone happen to know the thread size/type for the rocker oil feed banjo bolt? I've managed to strip the thread in one of my Navi heads, so am considering a threaded insert.

I appreciate this topic comes up from time to time but my 1960 Norton Jubilee appears to be a 'wet sumper'. I have read all kinds of advice from new oil pumps to oil valves to taps on sump plugs but what does everyone think?

Rebuilding my ‘66 and there was nothing positioning it prior to the rebuild - other than the rigid aged wiring looms!
