Hello all,

Is the seat on the 99SS a two tone seat?   From this photo it appears it may be but the top may just be lighter because of the lighting.  

Does anyone in the group know what filter goes with these aftermarket kits? This was added to my new to me 1954 dominator and one of the previous owners passed on no information about it.

Hi. I went out for a ride on my 99 today  and twice I had the engine cut out on me.

I have a selection of Needles with different letters engraved on them . Looking through my Amal Books I cant see any information on the needles , it must be somewhere !  The bike is my single carb 99..

The rebuild of my 1963 650SS is proceeding and I have purchased a new Atlas/650SS mag/alternator wiring loom from Norvil. I have converted the bike to 12v with a Boyer Powerbox.

My 1955 Model 88 does not have adjustable pre-load on the rear suspension units. I think they are Girlings. Two up, especially with luggage, it sometimes bottoms out.

Would appreciate advice on which mirrors - traditional or bar ends and pointing in the direction of suppliers.

The atlas ( single carb)  has been making an unusual popping in one of the exhausts on tickover. I haven't ridden it for some time. . The plug  is also sooty .  I changed the plug and no difference .

I am refitting the head of my '63 650SS and have purchased a stainless short centre bolt and washer from a well known supplier. The bolt is fine but the washer is too wide to fit into the recess in the cylinder head.
